Small island developing States (SIDS) vs Thailand: Input — Cropland nitrogen
Input — Cropland nitrogen over time
- Small island developing States (SIDS)
- Thailand
How they compare
Thailand currently reports 2.79 million t against 506,634 t in Small island developing States (SIDS), a difference of 2.28 million t.
That makes Thailand's figure about 5.5 times Small island developing States (SIDS)'s.
The two have swapped places 4 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Thailand ahead.
Small island developing States (SIDS) ranks 8th and Thailand ranks 11th of 18 groups.
Thailand has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
