Eastern Europe vs Viet Nam: Input — Cropland phosphorus per unit area
Input — Cropland phosphorus per unit area over time
- Eastern Europe
- Viet Nam
How they compare
Viet Nam currently reports 38.24 kg/ha against 7.36 kg/ha in Eastern Europe, a difference of 30.88 kg/ha.
That makes Viet Nam's figure about 5.2 times Eastern Europe's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Viet Nam ahead.
Eastern Europe ranks 22nd and Viet Nam ranks 22nd of 32 groups.
Across the 7 decades both report, Eastern Europe averaged higher in 3 and Viet Nam in 4.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
