Mali vs Yemen: Input — Cropland phosphorus per unit area
Input — Cropland phosphorus per unit area over time
- Mali
- Yemen
How they compare
Yemen currently reports 2.65 kg/ha against 2.3 kg/ha in Mali, a difference of 0.35 kg/ha.
That makes Yemen's figure about 1.2 times Mali's.
The two have swapped places 5 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Mali ahead.
Mali ranks 167th and Yemen ranks 164th of 186 countries.
Mali has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Mali | Yemen | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
