Afghanistan vs Uganda: Leaching — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Leaching — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Afghanistan
- Uganda
How they compare
Uganda currently reports 2.44 kg/ha against 2.2 kg/ha in Afghanistan, a difference of 0.24 kg/ha.
That makes Uganda's figure about 1.1 times Afghanistan's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Afghanistan ahead.
Afghanistan ranks 169th and Uganda ranks 166th of 201 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Afghanistan averaged higher in 6 and Uganda in 1.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Afghanistan | Uganda | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
