Bangladesh vs Colombia: Leaching — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Leaching — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Bangladesh
- Colombia
How they compare
Bangladesh currently reports 23.25 kg/ha against 21.78 kg/ha in Colombia, a difference of 1.47 kg/ha.
That makes Bangladesh's figure about 1.1 times Colombia's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Colombia ahead.
Bangladesh ranks 31st and Colombia ranks 32nd of 201 countries.
Across the 7 decades both report, Bangladesh averaged higher in 1 and Colombia in 6.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Bangladesh | Colombia | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
