How they compare

Bangladesh currently reports 23.25 kg/ha against 20.98 kg/ha in Denmark, a difference of 2.27 kg/ha.

That makes Bangladesh's figure about 1.1 times Denmark's.

The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Denmark ahead.

Bangladesh ranks 31st and Denmark ranks 33rd of 201 countries.

Across the 7 decades both report, Bangladesh averaged higher in 1 and Denmark in 6.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
