How they compare

Namibia currently reports 4.16 kg/ha against 3.92 kg/ha in Bhutan, a difference of 0.24 kg/ha.

That makes Namibia's figure about 1.1 times Bhutan's.

The two have swapped places 1 time across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Bhutan ahead.

Bhutan ranks 133rd and Namibia ranks 130th of 186 countries.

Bhutan has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Bhutan Namibia Difference Ahead
1960s 2.25 kg/ha 1.22 kg/ha 1.03 kg/ha Bhutan
1970s 2.45 kg/ha 1.22 kg/ha 1.22 kg/ha Bhutan
1980s 2.72 kg/ha 1.09 kg/ha 1.63 kg/ha Bhutan
1990s 2.27 kg/ha 1.04 kg/ha 1.24 kg/ha Bhutan
2000s 2.75 kg/ha 1.31 kg/ha 1.44 kg/ha Bhutan
2010s 4.62 kg/ha 2.93 kg/ha 1.69 kg/ha Bhutan
2020s 4.66 kg/ha 2.61 kg/ha 2.05 kg/ha Bhutan

Averages of every year both report within each decade.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
