Ethiopia PDR vs Solomon Islands: Leaching — Cropland nitrogen per unit area
Leaching — Cropland nitrogen per unit area over time
- Ethiopia PDR
- Solomon Islands
How they compare
Ethiopia PDR currently reports 1.3 kg/ha against 1.02 kg/ha in Solomon Islands, a difference of 0.28 kg/ha.
That makes Ethiopia PDR's figure about 1.3 times Solomon Islands's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 32 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Ethiopia PDR ahead.
Ethiopia PDR ranks 176th and Solomon Islands ranks 179th of 186 countries.
Solomon Islands has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Ethiopia PDR | Solomon Islands | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1960s | 0.7586 kg/ha | 0.8692 kg/ha | 0.1106 kg/ha | Solomon Islands |
| 1970s | 0.7808 kg/ha | 1.45 kg/ha | 0.673 kg/ha | Solomon Islands |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
