How they compare

Viet Nam currently reports 20.83 kg/ha against 19.75 kg/ha in Pakistan, a difference of 1.08 kg/ha.

That makes Viet Nam's figure about 1.1 times Pakistan's.

The two have swapped places 2 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Viet Nam ahead.

Pakistan ranks 37th and Viet Nam ranks 34th of 201 countries.

Viet Nam has averaged higher in every one of the 7 decades both report.

The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
