Canada vs Czechoslovakia: Manure applied — Cropland nitrogen
Manure applied — Cropland nitrogen over time
- Canada
- Czechoslovakia
How they compare
Czechoslovakia currently reports 229,509 t against 216,810 t in Canada, a difference of 12,699 t.
That makes Czechoslovakia's figure about 1.1 times Canada's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 32 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Canada ahead.
Canada ranks 25th and Czechoslovakia ranks 23rd of 200 countries.
Across the 4 decades both report, Canada averaged higher in 1 and Czechoslovakia in 3.

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
