China vs Czechoslovakia: Manure applied — Cropland phosphorus per unit area
Manure applied — Cropland phosphorus per unit area over time
- China
- Czechoslovakia
How they compare
Czechoslovakia currently reports 12.05 kg/ha against 10.59 kg/ha in China, a difference of 1.46 kg/ha.
That makes Czechoslovakia's figure about 1.1 times China's.
Across all 32 years both countries report, Czechoslovakia has been ahead every year.
China ranks 45th and Czechoslovakia ranks 42nd of 200 countries.
Czechoslovakia has averaged higher in every one of the 4 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | China | Czechoslovakia | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
