Guam vs Kiribati: Methane (CH4) emissions from Agriculture
Methane (CH4) emissions from Agriculture over time
- Guam
- Kiribati
How they compare
Kiribati currently reports 0.0033 Mt CO2e against 0.0028 Mt CO2e in Guam, a difference of 0.0005 Mt CO2e.
That makes Kiribati's figure about 1.2 times Guam's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Guam ahead.
Guam ranks 191st and Kiribati ranks 190th of 201 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Guam averaged higher in 3 and Kiribati in 3.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of methane (CH4), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the agricultural sector. This includes emissions from livestock (IPCC 2006 codes 3.A.1 (enteric fermentation, 3.a.2 (manure management) and crops (IPCC 2006 codes 3.C.1 Emissions from biomass burning, 3.C.7 Rice cultivations). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
