Macao vs Seychelles: Methane (CH4) emissions from Agriculture
Methane (CH4) emissions from Agriculture over time
- Macao
- Seychelles
How they compare
Seychelles currently reports 0.0023 Mt CO2e against 0.002 Mt CO2e in Macao, a difference of 0.0003 Mt CO2e.
That makes Seychelles's figure about 1.1 times Macao's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Seychelles ahead.
Macao ranks 194th and Seychelles ranks 192nd of 201 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Macao averaged higher in 1 and Seychelles in 5.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of methane (CH4), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the agricultural sector. This includes emissions from livestock (IPCC 2006 codes 3.A.1 (enteric fermentation, 3.a.2 (manure management) and crops (IPCC 2006 codes 3.C.1 Emissions from biomass burning, 3.C.7 Rice cultivations). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
