Barbados vs Eswatini: Methane (CH4) emissions from Waste
Methane (CH4) emissions from Waste over time
- Barbados
- Eswatini
How they compare
Eswatini currently reports 0.157 Mt CO2e against 0.1171 Mt CO2e in Barbados, a difference of 0.0399 Mt CO2e.
That makes Eswatini's figure about 1.3 times Barbados's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Eswatini has been ahead every year.
Barbados ranks 167th and Eswatini ranks 166th of 203 countries.
Eswatini has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of methane (CH4), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
