Bhutan vs Comoros: Methane (CH4) emissions from Waste
Methane (CH4) emissions from Waste over time
- Bhutan
- Comoros
How they compare
Bhutan currently reports 0.1744 Mt CO2e against 0.1658 Mt CO2e in Comoros, a difference of 0.0086 Mt CO2e.
That makes Bhutan's figure about 1.1 times Comoros's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Comoros ahead.
Bhutan ranks 163rd and Comoros ranks 164th of 203 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Bhutan averaged higher in 1 and Comoros in 5.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of methane (CH4), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
