Central African Republic vs Laos: Methane (CH4) emissions from Waste
Methane (CH4) emissions from Waste over time
- Central African Republic
- Laos
How they compare
Laos currently reports 0.4771 Mt CO2e against 0.4427 Mt CO2e in Central African Republic, a difference of 0.0344 Mt CO2e.
That makes Laos's figure about 1.1 times Central African Republic's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Central African Republic ahead.
Central African Republic ranks 147th and Laos ranks 144th of 203 groups.
Across the 6 decades both report, Central African Republic averaged higher in 4 and Laos in 2.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of methane (CH4), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
