Djibouti vs Paraguay: Methane (CH4) emissions from Waste
Methane (CH4) emissions from Waste over time
- Djibouti
- Paraguay
How they compare
Paraguay currently reports 0.6091 Mt CO2e against 0.5652 Mt CO2e in Djibouti, a difference of 0.0439 Mt CO2e.
That makes Paraguay's figure about 1.1 times Djibouti's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Paraguay has been ahead every year.
Djibouti ranks 135th and Paraguay ranks 134th of 203 countries.
Paraguay has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of methane (CH4), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
