Grenada vs Saint Lucia: Methane (CH4) emissions from Waste
Methane (CH4) emissions from Waste over time
- Grenada
- Saint Lucia
How they compare
Grenada currently reports 0.0375 Mt CO2e against 0.0333 Mt CO2e in Saint Lucia, a difference of 0.0042 Mt CO2e.
That makes Grenada's figure about 1.1 times Saint Lucia's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Grenada ahead.
Grenada ranks 178th and Saint Lucia ranks 181st of 203 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Grenada averaged higher in 2 and Saint Lucia in 4.

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of methane (CH4), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
