Europe vs Oman: Mineral fertilizers — Cropland potassium per unit area
Mineral fertilizers — Cropland potassium per unit area over time
- Europe
- Oman
How they compare
Oman currently reports 78.87 kg/ha against 9.59 kg/ha in Europe, a difference of 69.28 kg/ha.
That makes Oman's figure about 8.2 times Europe's.
The two have swapped places 5 times across 63 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Europe ahead.
Europe ranks 14th and Oman ranks 9th of 29 regions.
Across the 7 decades both report, Europe averaged higher in 4 and Oman in 3.
Head to head by decade

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
