Niger vs Sudan: Mineral fertilizers — Cropland potassium per unit area
Mineral fertilizers — Cropland potassium per unit area over time
- Niger
- Sudan
How they compare
Sudan currently reports 0.1094 kg/ha against 0.0993 kg/ha in Niger, a difference of 0.0101 kg/ha.
That makes Sudan's figure about 1.1 times Niger's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 12 shared years of data; in 2012 it was Sudan ahead.
Niger ranks 169th and Sudan ranks 168th of 185 countries.
Sudan has averaged higher in every one of the 2 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Niger | Sudan | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
The Cropland Nutrient balance domain contains information on the flows of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium from mineral fertilizer, manure applied, atmospheric deposition, crop removal, and biological fixation over cropland and per unit area of cropland. The flows are aggregated to total inputs and total outputs, from which the overall nutrient balance and nutrient use efficiency on cropland are calculated. Statistics are disseminated in units of tonnes and in kg/ha, as appropriate. Nutrient use efficiency is expressed as a fraction (%).
