Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Oman: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Agriculture
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Agriculture over time
- Bosnia and Herzegovina
- Oman
How they compare
Oman currently reports 0.5101 Mt CO2e against 0.442 Mt CO2e in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a difference of 0.0681 Mt CO2e.
That makes Oman's figure about 1.2 times Bosnia and Herzegovina's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Bosnia and Herzegovina ahead.
Bosnia and Herzegovina ranks 131st and Oman ranks 129th of 201 countries.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Bosnia and Herzegovina | Oman | Difference | Ahead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1970s | 0.6985 Mt CO2e | 0.0826 Mt CO2e | 0.6159 Mt CO2e | Bosnia and Herzegovina |

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the agricultural sector. This includes emissions from livestock (IPCC 2006 codes 3.A.1 (enteric fermentation, 3.a.2 (manure management) and crops (IPCC 2006 codes 3.C.1 Emissions from biomass burning, 3.C.2 Liming, 3.C.3 Urea application, 3.C.4 Direct N2O Emissions from managed soils, 3.C.5 Indirect N2O Emissions from managed soils, 3.C.6 Indirect N2O Emissions from manure management, 3.C.7 Rice cultivations). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
