Bulgaria vs Papua New Guinea: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Building (Energy)
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Building (Energy) over time
- Bulgaria
- Papua New Guinea
How they compare
Bulgaria currently reports 0.0734 Mt CO2e against 0.0665 Mt CO2e in Papua New Guinea, a difference of 0.0069 Mt CO2e.
That makes Bulgaria's figure about 1.1 times Papua New Guinea's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Bulgaria has been ahead every year.
Bulgaria ranks 89th and Papua New Guinea ranks 92nd of 197 countries.
Bulgaria has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the building sector (subsector of the energy sector) including IPCC 2006 codes 1.A.4 Residential and other sectors, 1.A.5 Non-Specified. The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
