Chile vs Finland: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Building (Energy)
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Building (Energy) over time
- Chile
- Finland
How they compare
Finland currently reports 0.1694 Mt CO2e against 0.1556 Mt CO2e in Chile, a difference of 0.0138 Mt CO2e.
That makes Finland's figure about 1.1 times Chile's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Finland has been ahead every year.
Chile ranks 56th and Finland ranks 55th of 197 countries.
Finland has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Chile | Finland | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the building sector (subsector of the energy sector) including IPCC 2006 codes 1.A.4 Residential and other sectors, 1.A.5 Non-Specified. The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
