How they compare

Czechia currently reports 1.01 Mt CO2e against 0.9134 Mt CO2e in Kazakhstan, a difference of 0.0966 Mt CO2e.

That makes Czechia's figure about 1.1 times Kazakhstan's.

The two have swapped places 2 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Czechia ahead.

Czechia ranks 53rd and Kazakhstan ranks 56th of 203 countries.

Czechia has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.

Head to head by decade

Decade Czechia Kazakhstan Difference Ahead
1970s 3.09 Mt CO2e 1.3 Mt CO2e 1.79 Mt CO2e Czechia
1980s 2.6 Mt CO2e 1.42 Mt CO2e 1.18 Mt CO2e Czechia
1990s 1.59 Mt CO2e 1.12 Mt CO2e 0.475 Mt CO2e Czechia
2000s 1.47 Mt CO2e 0.92 Mt CO2e 0.5457 Mt CO2e Czechia
2010s 1.18 Mt CO2e 0.9432 Mt CO2e 0.2394 Mt CO2e Czechia
2020s 1.15 Mt CO2e 0.8897 Mt CO2e 0.2594 Mt CO2e Czechia

Averages of every year both report within each decade.

A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from industrial processes including IPCC 2006 codes 2.A.1 Cement production, 2.A.2 Lime production, 2.A.3 Glass Production, 2.A.4 Other Process Uses of Carbonates, 2.B Chemical Industry, 2.C Metal Industry, 2.D Non-Energy Products from Fuels and Solvent Use, 2.E Electronics Industry, 2.F Product Uses as Substitutes for Ozone Depleting Substances, 2.G Other Product Manufacture and Use and 5.A Indirect N2O emissions from the atmospheric deposition of nitrogen in NOx and NH3). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
