Belgium vs Rwanda: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Power Industry (Energy)
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Power Industry (Energy) over time
- Belgium
- Rwanda
How they compare
Belgium currently reports 0.0591 Mt CO2e against 0.0511 Mt CO2e in Rwanda, a difference of 0.008 Mt CO2e.
That makes Belgium's figure about 1.2 times Rwanda's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Belgium has been ahead every year.
Belgium ranks 58th and Rwanda ranks 61st of 194 countries.
Belgium has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from electricity and heat generation (subsector of the energy sector) including IPCC 2006 code 1.A.1.a. The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
