Luxembourg vs Turkmenistan: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Power Industry (Energy)
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Power Industry (Energy) over time
- Luxembourg
- Turkmenistan
How they compare
Turkmenistan currently reports 0.0092 Mt CO2e against 0.0076 Mt CO2e in Luxembourg, a difference of 0.0016 Mt CO2e.
That makes Turkmenistan's figure about 1.2 times Luxembourg's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Turkmenistan has been ahead every year.
Luxembourg ranks 106th and Turkmenistan ranks 103rd of 194 countries.
Turkmenistan has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Luxembourg | Turkmenistan | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from electricity and heat generation (subsector of the energy sector) including IPCC 2006 code 1.A.1.a. The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
