Angola vs Belgium: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Angola
- Belgium
How they compare
Belgium currently reports 0.3271 Mt CO2e against 0.2891 Mt CO2e in Angola, a difference of 0.038 Mt CO2e.
That makes Belgium's figure about 1.1 times Angola's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Belgium has been ahead every year.
Angola ranks 61st and Belgium ranks 59th of 203 countries.
Belgium has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
