Armenia vs Puerto Rico: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Armenia
- Puerto Rico
How they compare
Armenia currently reports 0.0542 Mt CO2e against 0.0453 Mt CO2e in Puerto Rico, a difference of 0.0089 Mt CO2e.
That makes Armenia's figure about 1.2 times Puerto Rico's.
The two have swapped places 6 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Armenia ahead.
Armenia ranks 136th and Puerto Rico ranks 138th of 203 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Armenia averaged higher in 5 and Puerto Rico in 1.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
