Barbados vs Solomon Islands: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Barbados
- Solomon Islands
How they compare
Solomon Islands currently reports 0.0069 Mt CO2e against 0.0055 Mt CO2e in Barbados, a difference of 0.0014 Mt CO2e.
That makes Solomon Islands's figure about 1.3 times Barbados's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Barbados ahead.
Barbados ranks 171st and Solomon Islands ranks 169th of 203 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Barbados averaged higher in 3 and Solomon Islands in 3.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
