Belize vs Luxembourg: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Belize
- Luxembourg
How they compare
Luxembourg currently reports 0.0174 Mt CO2e against 0.0157 Mt CO2e in Belize, a difference of 0.0017 Mt CO2e.
That makes Luxembourg's figure about 1.1 times Belize's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Luxembourg has been ahead every year.
Belize ranks 153rd and Luxembourg ranks 152nd of 203 countries.
Luxembourg has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
