Bulgaria vs Laos: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Bulgaria
- Laos
How they compare
Bulgaria currently reports 0.1108 Mt CO2e against 0.1027 Mt CO2e in Laos, a difference of 0.0081 Mt CO2e.
That makes Bulgaria's figure about 1.1 times Laos's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Bulgaria has been ahead every year.
Bulgaria ranks 104th and Laos ranks 106th of 203 countries.
Bulgaria has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
