Cambodia vs Hong Kong: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Cambodia
- Hong Kong
How they compare
Cambodia currently reports 0.1845 Mt CO2e against 0.1753 Mt CO2e in Hong Kong, a difference of 0.0092 Mt CO2e.
That makes Cambodia's figure about 1.1 times Hong Kong's.
The two have swapped places 5 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Hong Kong ahead.
Cambodia ranks 84th and Hong Kong ranks 87th of 203 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Cambodia averaged higher in 2 and Hong Kong in 4.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
