Cayman Islands vs Faroe Islands: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Cayman Islands
- Faroe Islands
How they compare
Faroe Islands currently reports 0.0009 Mt CO2e against 0.0008 Mt CO2e in Cayman Islands, a difference of 0.0001 Mt CO2e.
That makes Faroe Islands's figure about 1.1 times Cayman Islands's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Faroe Islands has been ahead every year.
Cayman Islands ranks 193rd and Faroe Islands ranks 190th of 203 countries.
Faroe Islands has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
