Comoros vs Equatorial Guinea: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Comoros
- Equatorial Guinea
How they compare
Equatorial Guinea currently reports 0.0121 Mt CO2e against 0.0104 Mt CO2e in Comoros, a difference of 0.0017 Mt CO2e.
That makes Equatorial Guinea's figure about 1.2 times Comoros's.
The two have swapped places 6 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Equatorial Guinea ahead.
Comoros ranks 163rd and Equatorial Guinea ranks 160th of 203 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Comoros averaged higher in 3 and Equatorial Guinea in 3.

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
