Denmark vs Tunisia: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Denmark
- Tunisia
How they compare
Tunisia currently reports 0.2152 Mt CO2e against 0.2017 Mt CO2e in Denmark, a difference of 0.0135 Mt CO2e.
That makes Tunisia's figure about 1.1 times Denmark's.
The two have swapped places 7 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Denmark ahead.
Denmark ranks 78th and Tunisia ranks 75th of 203 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Denmark averaged higher in 4 and Tunisia in 2.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Denmark | Tunisia | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
