Dominica vs Marshall Islands: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Dominica
- Marshall Islands
How they compare
Dominica currently reports 0.0013 Mt CO2e against 0.001 Mt CO2e in Marshall Islands, a difference of 0.0003 Mt CO2e.
That makes Dominica's figure about 1.3 times Marshall Islands's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Dominica has been ahead every year.
Dominica ranks 185th and Marshall Islands ranks 187th of 203 countries.
Dominica has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
