Equatorial Guinea vs Iceland: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Equatorial Guinea
- Iceland
How they compare
Equatorial Guinea currently reports 0.0121 Mt CO2e against 0.0106 Mt CO2e in Iceland, a difference of 0.0015 Mt CO2e.
That makes Equatorial Guinea's figure about 1.1 times Iceland's.
The two have swapped places 3 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Iceland ahead.
Equatorial Guinea ranks 160th and Iceland ranks 162nd of 203 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Equatorial Guinea averaged higher in 1 and Iceland in 5.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
