Eritrea vs Uruguay: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Eritrea
- Uruguay
How they compare
Uruguay currently reports 0.0618 Mt CO2e against 0.0587 Mt CO2e in Eritrea, a difference of 0.0031 Mt CO2e.
That makes Uruguay's figure about 1.1 times Eritrea's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Uruguay has been ahead every year.
Eritrea ranks 132nd and Uruguay ranks 129th of 203 countries.
Uruguay has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
