Fiji vs East Timor: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Fiji
- East Timor
How they compare
East Timor currently reports 0.0154 Mt CO2e against 0.0132 Mt CO2e in Fiji, a difference of 0.0022 Mt CO2e.
That makes East Timor's figure about 1.2 times Fiji's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was East Timor ahead.
Fiji ranks 157th and East Timor ranks 155th of 203 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Fiji averaged higher in 3 and East Timor in 3.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
