Georgia vs Moldova: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Georgia
- Moldova
How they compare
Georgia currently reports 0.0616 Mt CO2e against 0.0571 Mt CO2e in Moldova, a difference of 0.0045 Mt CO2e.
That makes Georgia's figure about 1.1 times Moldova's.
The two have swapped places 5 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Moldova ahead.
Georgia ranks 130th and Moldova ranks 133rd of 203 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Georgia averaged higher in 3 and Moldova in 3.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
