Guinea vs Norway: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Guinea
- Norway
How they compare
Guinea currently reports 0.1504 Mt CO2e against 0.1381 Mt CO2e in Norway, a difference of 0.0123 Mt CO2e.
That makes Guinea's figure about 1.1 times Norway's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Norway ahead.
Guinea ranks 94th and Norway ranks 97th of 203 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Guinea averaged higher in 1 and Norway in 5.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Guinea | Norway | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
