Heavily indebted poor countries (HIPC) vs Myanmar: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Heavily indebted poor countries (HIPC)
- Myanmar
How they compare
Heavily indebted poor countries (HIPC) currently reports 9.68 Mt CO2e against 0.6975 Mt CO2e in Myanmar, a difference of 8.98 Mt CO2e.
That makes Heavily indebted poor countries (HIPC)'s figure about 13.9 times Myanmar's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Heavily indebted poor countries (HIPC) has been ahead every year.
Heavily indebted poor countries (HIPC) ranks 31st and Myanmar ranks 33rd of 45 groups.
Heavily indebted poor countries (HIPC) has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
