Honduras vs Laos: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Honduras
- Laos
How they compare
Honduras currently reports 0.1142 Mt CO2e against 0.1027 Mt CO2e in Laos, a difference of 0.0115 Mt CO2e.
That makes Honduras's figure about 1.1 times Laos's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Honduras ahead.
Honduras ranks 103rd and Laos ranks 106th of 203 countries.
Honduras has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Honduras | Laos | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
