Iraq vs Uzbekistan: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Iraq
- Uzbekistan
How they compare
Uzbekistan currently reports 0.63 Mt CO2e against 0.5521 Mt CO2e in Iraq, a difference of 0.0779 Mt CO2e.
That makes Uzbekistan's figure about 1.1 times Iraq's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Uzbekistan has been ahead every year.
Iraq ranks 40th and Uzbekistan ranks 37th of 203 countries.
Uzbekistan has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
