Lebanon vs Singapore: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Lebanon
- Singapore
How they compare
Lebanon currently reports 0.0984 Mt CO2e against 0.0924 Mt CO2e in Singapore, a difference of 0.006 Mt CO2e.
That makes Lebanon's figure about 1.1 times Singapore's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Lebanon has been ahead every year.
Lebanon ranks 110th and Singapore ranks 113th of 203 countries.
Lebanon has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
