Liberia vs Namibia: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Liberia
- Namibia
How they compare
Liberia currently reports 0.0437 Mt CO2e against 0.0331 Mt CO2e in Namibia, a difference of 0.0106 Mt CO2e.
That makes Liberia's figure about 1.3 times Namibia's.
The two have swapped places 2 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Liberia ahead.
Liberia ranks 140th and Namibia ranks 143rd of 203 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Liberia averaged higher in 4 and Namibia in 2.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
