Netherlands vs Uzbekistan: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Netherlands
- Uzbekistan
How they compare
Uzbekistan currently reports 0.63 Mt CO2e against 0.5687 Mt CO2e in Netherlands, a difference of 0.0613 Mt CO2e.
That makes Uzbekistan's figure about 1.1 times Netherlands's.
The two have swapped places 3 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Netherlands ahead.
Netherlands ranks 39th and Uzbekistan ranks 37th of 203 countries.
Across the 6 decades both report, Netherlands averaged higher in 5 and Uzbekistan in 1.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Netherlands | Uzbekistan | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
