Peru vs Small states: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Peru
- Small states
How they compare
Peru currently reports 0.5303 Mt CO2e against 0.3115 Mt CO2e in Small states, a difference of 0.2188 Mt CO2e.
That makes Peru's figure about 1.7 times Small states's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Peru has been ahead every year.
Peru ranks 42nd and Small states ranks 44th of 203 countries.
Peru has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
