Slovakia vs United Arab Emirates: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Slovakia
- United Arab Emirates
How they compare
Slovakia currently reports 0.2389 Mt CO2e against 0.2242 Mt CO2e in United Arab Emirates, a difference of 0.0147 Mt CO2e.
That makes Slovakia's figure about 1.1 times United Arab Emirates's.
The two have swapped places 6 times across 55 shared years of data; in 1970 it was Slovakia ahead.
Slovakia ranks 70th and United Arab Emirates ranks 73rd of 203 countries.
Slovakia has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade
| Decade | Slovakia | United Arab Emirates | Difference | Ahead |

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
