Sudan vs Thailand: Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste
Nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from Waste over time
- Sudan
- Thailand
How they compare
Thailand currently reports 0.9187 Mt CO2e against 0.7824 Mt CO2e in Sudan, a difference of 0.1363 Mt CO2e.
That makes Thailand's figure about 1.2 times Sudan's.
Across all 55 years both countries report, Thailand has been ahead every year.
Sudan ranks 31st and Thailand ranks 28th of 203 countries.
Thailand has averaged higher in every one of the 6 decades both report.
Head to head by decade

About this data
A measure of annual emissions of nitrous oxide (N2O), one of the six Kyoto greenhouse gases (GHG), from the waste sector. This includes emissions from solid waste (IPCC 2006 codes 4.A Solid Waste Disposal, 4.B Biological Treatment of Solid Waste, 4.C Incineration and Open Burning of Waste) and wastewater treatment (IPCC 2006 code 4.D Wastewater Treatment and Discharge). The measure is standardized to carbon dioxide equivalent values using the Global Warming Potential (GWP) factors of IPCC's 5th Assessment Report (AR5).
